   Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz prequels….and now Pinocchio is getting remade? Interesting to say the least.

     It’s such a dark story. It looks like Guillermo del Toro will be overseeing a very spooky stop-motion Pinocchio whilst Tim Burton is making Gepetto with… Robert Downey Jr! Not Johnny Depp (surely there must be something wrong here) x

       Yes, seeing a Burton film without Johnny Depp will be very weird to see, but I wonder how Robert Downey will play the role? I remember the Disney version was very scary.

         The part when the boys turn into donkeys is terrifying! I suspect Burton will be giving us a Pinocchio prequel with a young Gepetto, which could be interesting.

     Funny you should say that Anthony – a little birdy tells me there are 2 Pinocchio projects in the pipeline. Guillermo del Toro is working on a stop-motion version whilst Tim Burton (who else) is making Gepetto with Robert Downey Jr. I’m a bit too excited about these (nearly as excited as I am about finally getting to see Batman this week) x
