These images I found in the Japanese Vogue Beauty Dec. As a sill stylist myself I was blown away by the beauty of these images. Who were these dolls. They are so mystical, so Haute Couture (even though they are nude).
The creator of these dolls is Marina Bychkova and she is an amazing artist. Her dolls are so refined.

For some reason, I found this beautiful and heartbreaking.
They are quite lovely but their expressions are quite forlorn… and of course they’ll work for free, they don’t belong to a union and they eat less than real supermodels.
I have discovered an entirely weird and wonderful world of ball-jointed dolls lately. I intend to explore some more. x
