Lily Wight ~ The Arcade Of Arts & Arcana is presenting just one Blog Of The Year Award for 2012.

Renard Moreau is a gifted and conscientious blogger with a unique ability to speak directly and warmly to his readers.  Renard has wit, wisdom and an ability to see beauty in many things.  His blog is infinitely varied, always entertaining and enlightening by coincidence just when you need it to be.

Renard is unlikely to be interested in or effected by this award, but his blog is heartily recommended just the same and hopefully that will make him *smile* ;)

October at The Arcade Of Arts & Arcana featured Gothic Tim Burton-style Pokémon, classic horror authors; H.P. Lovecraft, Kim Newman and James Herbert, some naughty naked Brides for Frankenstein and a Johnny Depp pumpkin.

It was however Zombie Braincakes, the scary zombie-girl doll by Jade Perez at Morbid Dollhouse, that caught your eye.

Here she is again and she’s brought some friends…

I am thrilled and incredibly grateful to receive the online blogging community’s Blog Of The Year Award 2012.

There is a pleasing synchronicity to accepting this award on the day I renewed my website and blog’s domain name: so I would like to thank InkAshlings http://inkashlings.wordpress.com/ for presenting me with the award and awakening motivation and inspiration for 2013!

As a special festive treat I will be presenting a single much-coveted Blog Of The Year Award to one lucky Blogsprite on Christmas Day – Good luck ;)

The wheel of the year turns to October. We notice the chill in the air, the earlier dark, rain and rust-red leaves. In the supermarket, oversized boxes of gummy ghosts and snakes take their place next to spiderweb garlands, vampire teeth and pointy hats. Pumpkins are selling out quick, soon to be grinning gargoyles on the doorstep and hearty soups on the stove.

The discovery was made near the Saint Nicholas Wonderworker monastery in Sozopol. Photo by dariknews.bg

Bulgarian archaeologists have discovered a buried man with an iron stick in his chest in the Black Sea town of Sozopol.

The man, who was buried over 700 years ago, was stabbed multiple times in the chest and the stomach, as his contemporaries feared that he would raise from the dead as a vampire, National History Museum director Bozhidar Dimitrov has told local media.

Although this is a bit different from what I usually post, I came upon this picture on the internet and just had to share. I have read and watched a lot on the subject of the undead and vampires, and even read about this cage over graves before. However, I have never actually seen a picture of one before and found it unique.

Today I read a post about The Fool card in Tarot. One of my favorite gals- Lily Wight of The Arcade of Arts & Arcana posted Tarot art - The Fool on May 9, 2012. I absolutely loved the art work created for that card. Ms. Lily reblogged the tarot post from Tiana Setka's Divination Blog. After reading the post, I started to contemplate what it means to be foolish?

Hey everyone, this is a blog that will talk in general about fashion, t-shirt design, and the small business that I own (teacuptease) with my girlfriend (Taylor). A little about the direction of our shop, we are vintage clothing, as well as accessories, t-shirts we designed ourselves, and clothing that has been made a piece of art (pic related).
