Maleficent is currently scheduled for a May 2014 release with Angelina Jolie all set to do for Evil Fairy Godmothers what Charlize Theron did for Wicked Stepmothers in Snow White And The Huntsman!

I don’t know if Disney will ever really “let themselves go” with these Fairy Tales, but the villainesses offer juicy roles for statuesque actresses.

Haven’t seen it but after the trailer I will. I think that Fairy tales are meant to be dark and scary with happy endings of course, but I don’t think that Disney would dare to make them like that.
