And there are people all over Northern America who murder these adorable little creatures and their equally beautiful parents. Shame on those ignorant humans! Thanks to Lily White for sharing this cutie with us.

There are no indigenous wolves left in the UK for this very reason although I believe there are proposals to re-introduce them in Scotland, which would be fantastic. There is no justification to hunt animals in the 21st century when all our survival needs are met. I hear you, Maria x

I know, it’s so shocking to think that the wild boar, the bear, the wolf and heaven knows how many other wonderful creatures were hunted to extinction just here in Britain. Growing up in Germany I got so used to wild boar roaming the forests, when I settled in the UK all those years ago, I expected to see wild boar and their cute striped piglets in British woodland as well. As you say, there’s no need for hunting and in my opinion it’s only perverted people who go out there shooting at everything that moves. Or that moronic teacher who baited a bull elephant last week and, when the animal got scared and reacted, was responsible for getting the elephant killed. That teacher deserved to be squashed, as it is, the elephant got murdered instead.

I didn’t see that story, that’s terrible. There are too many people now who have no idea how to behave around animals because they are not used to living alongside them, especially in their natural habitat.
That’s some teacher. I wonder what lesson his pupils learned from this 😦
