Jamie Dornan may have bagged the much coveted role of sado-hunk Christian Grey but it is his little known co-star, Dakota Johnson, who is currently Google’s most searched for celeb.  So here she is,  Ms. Anastasia Steele, in this month’s movie adaptation of E. L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey.

You’ll soon be seeing ALOT more of her 😉

*Dakota Mayi Johnson was born 4th October 1989 in Austin, Texas, USA.

*Dakota is the daughter of actors, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson and the stepdaughter of Antonio Banderas.

*Dakota made her acting début in Crazy In Alabama (1999) directed by Antonio Banderas and starring with her mother, Melanie and half-sister, Stella Banderas.

*Dakota signed to IMG Models in 2006 and became Miss Golden Globe the same year.

*Film credits include a brief  *ahem* but memorable scene in Facebook movie, The Social Network.

H.P. Lovecraft’s longform novel makes a fine introduction to the author’s original mythos and recurring themes but, like Poe before him, the style and structure of his weird tales has not aged well and demands patience from modern readers.

The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward reads much like a dry historical legal document and Lovecraft’s obsession with architecture is interesting but not thrilling.  The lazy dénouement owes much to Dracula – and vampire fans might catch the name “Ferenczy”: a major player in Brian Lumley’s superb Necroscope series.

Lovecraft’s short fiction is far more satisfying but completists and occultists will love this nonetheless.

Precious little is known about British actress, Daisy Ridley who has a handful of TV credits to her name in shows such as Casualty, Silent Witness and Mr. Selfridge.  All that looks set to change however following a role in The Inbetweeners 2 and a certain Sci Fi saga that a few fans will be waiting until 2015 to see.

Here is Daisy’s slideshow *WARNING contains boobage!!*

140429164103-01-new-star-wars-cast-horizontal-gallery     You’ll have to wait until December 2015 to get a brand new Star Wars: Episode VII sized Christmas present so there’s plenty of time to acquaint yourself with the next generation of stars from that galaxy far, far away.

Recently released cast details reveal nothing about character names and roles but British actor John Boyega (22) is most likely to fill the role of hot young hero whilst hoping to escape the saga’s infamous Hamill-Christensen curse.
